Every Dog

Training can quickly become stressful and overwhelming, but it doesn't have to! Welcome to Every Dog, where the joy of sharing a life with your dog is the ultimate goal. Every dog can be trained, and every dog is deserving of the opportunity to learn and grow without force or fear.

The Every Dog approach to training is ethical, compassionate, and accessible. With every new client we will start by first understanding the unique needs of your dog, and household, in order to build individual plans focused on achieving your long term goals - without burning out. Training that fits into your real life, and sets a strong foundation of trust, is what will help you and your dog see real results.

Training with Every Dog is meant for every type of household. There is no discrimination based on race, gender identity, age, sexuality, or disability. There is no breed discrimination either. All are welcome.

Training Services

Puppy Start

Starting Off Strong

Set yourselves up for success by staring early to build a solid foundation for you and your puppy. Together we will focus on potty training, safe and effective socialization, start skills like recall, build up handler engagement, and teach handling skills for grooming and vet visits. We will work together to set up sustainable routines that meet your pups physical, mental and emotional needs to help prevent new puppy burnout so you can enjoy them as they grow into a dog you love living with.

Shelter Dog Start

Set For Success

Bringing home a new dog can be as overwhelming as it is exciting. Shelter dogs come with their own specific needs and experiences to consider in the training and integration process. The focus in Shelter Dog Start is on welcoming your new family member safely, and with your long term needs and goals in mind. We will set up sustainable routines that meet your dogs physical, mental and emotional needs to help them feel safe and enjoy their new lease on life.

Basic Training

Building Good Habits

Do you need to fine tune some behaviors, and build up others? With Basic Training we work toward a well rounded dog by giving them the education and skills to make good choices. This is a great fit for dogs who have done Puppy Start or Shelter Start, or dogs over 6 months who have some foundational training.

Special Support

Addressing Specific Challenges

With Specialized support we focus in on just what you need help with most. This could be preparing for a new baby in the home, safety around doorways, or stopping fence fighting. This is the best fit for dogs 6 months or older, who have foundational skills but need specific support with one or two challenges.

Client Feedback

"I can't believe the progress we're making. We thought it would be so much harder to get help!"

Meg

"The written plans and support are helpful for me. I was feeling so overwhelmed by the idea of raising a puppy, and now I'm actually having fun with the process. My girl is so bright!"

Clark

"You should see how excited he gets to play his games. He isn't as worried about what is going on outside the windows anymore, and actually enjoys learning."
